What comes to your mind when talking about panda Guidelines? Keyword density on a webpage or something else! We all know that the panda update rolled out on 22 January 2013. Till then, there are thousands of websites affected by this update! I am giving Panda Blogger Guide keyword density, targeting and cannibalization to help your website out.
Keyword Density
Two words about keyword repetition, its suicide! Stuffing you content with a bunch of keywords makes your website look spammy and it affects your Google Ranking. On contemporary, ensuring your keywords are present somewhere in your content is a good thing. This is better known as Good Optimization. Never use keyword density meter. Keyword density is not as useful it used to be. In modern times, internet is changing from time to time. Therefore, keyword density should not be your concern anymore.
Remember, titles are important no matter what! It`s not always important to include keywords in your title. Creating a title which is magnetic will attract even more visitors than your valuable keywords and mainstream. So make your title catching and appealing and include your keywords in your content, specifically mention your keywords in your headlines.
Cannibalization
Bloggers nowadays are concerned about linking pages which don`t even have their specified keywords. It’s a big misconception that Google won`t rank if you fail to do so. First things first, give up your fears! Google is now differentiating both of them to make sure you rank better.
About linking to other pages, the anchor text is your best bet! Anchor text makes it easy for users to know where they are and where they are going! In addition, you need to retire old pages and switch them for fresh content. However, if you page ranks well but you want to post something fresh, there are a couple of things you can do. First of all, use 301 from previous URL to the fresh one. Second thing, you can erase the old post and add new one using the old URL. Third, you can move your old content to a new URL and put the fresh content to the old URL.
Keyword Targeting
Keyword match allows you to scroll down search which will trigger your client AdWords Ads. The precise matches of your keyword, the more relevant search it will offer to your client. Here are three keyword match options.
Phrase Match
In order to create a Phrase Match, endorse it with quotation marks! With help of phrase matches, you clients will appear in list of users who search for keywords but added words before keywords. It can also be triggered by misspelling or singular, plural error derived from the same root or abbreviation.
Broad Match
In order to specify broad match modifier, simply add a “+” before the keyword. Broad match modifier lets your client`s ads displayed whenever a user is looking for a close variant. However, the ads will not be shown if the user is using synonyms or similar words for the search query. But if only one word is missing from the query, the ads will still be displayed.
Exact Match
To specify the exact match keywords, use square brackets! These keywords mean that a client`s ad will only be shown when the user`s search will precisely match your keywords. If user adds an extra word in his search query, your ads won`t be shown. But AdWords will take a close look for misspellings, plural, singular, acronyms and variants derived from the same root!
