Event Marketing: How can you Socialize an Event?
Scared of socializing an event just because you don`t know how to? Well what do you need to do, call the catering, invite some guest and all? You only have to add Hash tag and advertise on social networks such as twitter and Skype just like we discussed below.
Instructions
1. Pick the right Hash tag which won`t be delusional because if you don`t. The event won`t be much popular. Try to get a real Hash tag which will be unique, short and easy to remember like Hyper-night (for instance). The point is short and sweet Hash tag will be constantly evolved around peoples mind and will refer to something that sparks their interest.
2. Always think big whenever you start to promote the event by keeping your Hash tag on your website. Place the Hash tag on your advertisement, email signature and tweet keynote. Try to mention it on the cover and make sure your each and every employee, friend and relatives know about it.
3. Ask your attendees for help because picking a Hash tag is not the end of line. You need to ask your attendees to use it for advertising the event. Make sure your host is convincing attendees to use it well. If your Hash tag is impressive, attendees will take it as keynote and will use it on Twitter, Skype and Facebook. However, you can`t push the Hash tag too far.
4. Assign socializing task to someone else because you might have no time for it. there`s a lot of going on such as Audio Visual Production, guest registration, catering service, press coverage, watching the audio equipment and much more. Therefore if you are looking socializing event, you need someone else who won`t do anything else except for this. If you don`t believe, try asking people to save time from their other activities and socialize the event.
5. Think outside the box, your audience won`t be the only one present in the event. Anyone around the internet who is interested in your company or product is also a part of your audience. Therefore you need to serve him too. But don`t get to big, a simple tweet keynote will do the trick.
6. Tell the world once the event is over and you have (taken/collected) the images and video by sharing it on Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram along with your Hash tag. Try to put at least 10 pictures a day and do it for a week (more if you like).
