How to Make Channels on YouTube and Get Google AdSense

• How To Get YouTube Account

Step 1: At YouTube Homepage, go to “Sign In” on top right corner of screen.

Step 2: When the “Sign In” Screen appears, click on “Create an Account”. You will be not direct to create a new Google Account.

Step 3: At “Create a New Google Account”, fill the fields with valid information. Enter you first and last name. Later you will be asked to choose a unique Google Username. Create and confirm your password and enter your gender as well as your birthday. You will be also asked for your Cell Phone number and current email address (incase if you have one).

Step 4: In addition of previous details, you will be also asked if you are creating the YouTube channel for business or service. Apart from that, you will need to select your current location and agree to “Terms of Service” listed on screen. Click on “Next Step” button to continue.

Step 5: Now you will need to create a Google Profile. For this, you will have to upload a profile picture. Click on “Add Profile Photo” button and “Next Step” button to proceed ahead. If you are creating the account for business or organization needs, then it would be better if you upload the company or product logo instead of a personal photo.

Step 6: One your Google Account is registered, Press the “Back to YouTube” Button.

Step 7: After a few minutes, you will get two emails from Google, first one will ask you to verify current email address (if provided) while second one will have your new account details. Save this information so you can refer to it later.

• How To Convert Your YouTube Account Into YouTube Channel

Step 1: Go to YouTube and Sign in with your newly created Google Account, YouTube home screen will now appear.

Step 2: On top right corner of screen, you will be able to see your account picture. Click on it to reveal the Google Account Menu.

Step 3: Click on “My Channel” Link, the “Create Your YouTube Channel” screen will now appear. From here, you can see your profile picture, username, first and last name. Now click on “Edit” link which is associated with “From Your Google Profile” to customize Google Profile.

Step 4:  Under “Activities You`ll Share on Your Channel” heading, you will observe four options named as “Like a Video”, “Favorite a Video”, “Comment on a Video” and “Subscribe to a Channel”. Add checkmark to checkbox associated with each activity you want from your visitors.

Step 5: Now click on “OK, I`m Ready to Continue” button. Congratulations, your YouTube Channel is created! Now stat populating your channel by uploading content!

• How To Approve Google AdSense On Your YouTube Channel

Step 1:  After uploading quality videos, check if you account is verified. If not, the click on “Verify Button” and provide your Cell Phone number. Now the verify button will be enabled, press it to verify your account.

Step 2:  Go to “Video Manager”à “Channel Settings”à “Account Settings”.  You will now see the “Enable my Account” button. Press it to enable your account!

Step 3: Read YouTube`s Terms and Conditions and agree, click every checkbox and press “I Accept”. You will now see a dialogue box which enables monetization to your account. Click on “Got it” button to get the ball rolling.

Step 4: At “Account Monetization” Page, apply to Google AdSense. You will now see FAQs such as How much my videos earn, what types of videos are eligible, what types of videos are not eligible and how will I be paid? After reading the entire section, click on “Next” button to proceed.

Step 5: Now Google AdSense signup page will appear, Click on “Yes, Proceed to Google Account Sign in”. Now you will be able to see “YouTube Account Information”.  After this, the Application From will appear, fill all details accordingly and press “Submit My Application”. After Submitting your form, wait for 2 days for the approval mail.
